An event titled “Green ICT, ICT Innovation Economy Conference and Exhibition” was held on Thursday (8/4/2010) at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). Event held on the cooperation Inixindo, Computer Info, Himals 4, and Indonesian Information Technology Federation (FTII) was opened by the Minister of Communication and Information Tifatul Sembiring.
Green ICT is itself a conference held at the same time an exhibition that gathers information technology users in Indonesia, both individuals and companies, to discuss issues surrounding the impact of ICT on the environment and find solutions together to enhance energy savings, reduce operational negative residual substances of ICT, as well as reduce the global impact warming.
According Partono Rudiarto, Director Inixindo, energy consumption figures in Indonesia, even in the world, continues to rise sharply. It is undeniable, it also led to the acceleration of global warming.Kompas
