China Unicom, one of the major mobile operators in China distributed the iPhone 4S for free. According to Alen Lin of BNP Paribas Securities, this offer is the same as the price of the iPhone 4S. China Unicom is the only operators that sells Free iPhone in China.
Subscribers can get a 32GB iPhone 4S for free after signing up for a three-year contract with a minimum expenditure of U.S. $ 45 monthly. While the 16GB iPhone 4S can get with two-year contract with a monthly fee of U.S. $ 60.
China Unicom plans to launch this offering on January 13, 2011 in conjunction with the first day of Apple selling the iPhone 4S in China.
