Sony Ericsson has announced the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Upgrade Schedule for Xperia smartphone. Through its official blog, Sony Ericsson announced the schedule update Ice Cream Sandwich for the Xperia series to be released in 2012. Sony Ericcson provide upgrade schedules Ice Cream Sandwiches in two stages.
The first phase will be conducted in late May or early April 2012 for the following Type Smartphone:
- Xperia Arc S
- Xperia Neo V
- Xperia Ray
For the next stage will available in early May or late April 2012 for Sony Ericsson smartphones type the following:
- Xperia Arc
- Xperia Play
- Xperia Neo
- Xperia Mini
- Xperia Mini Pro
- Xperia Active
- Xperia Live with The Walkman
Sony Erricson will provide a notification to the owners of Xperia which in essence is a command to download the software via 3G or WiFi. In addition, the Xperia users are also given the option to update by connecting your phone to your computer after downloading the update files via a PC. For other series smartphone, there has been no official support from Sony Ericsson.
